Who i work with

  • I work best with people who bring curiosity and motivation to the process — people who feel things deeply, think in complex ways, and are ready to engage honestly with what’s happening inside.

  • I work with anyone who is suffering, and for whom that pain has become too much to carry alone.

  • I work with anyone who feels stuck and wants to generate movement.

  • I enjoy helping people who don’t quite fit conventional molds: creatives, individuals who hold complex identities, and those who have felt othered or constrained by societal expectations of who they should be.

  • These experiences — the feeling of not belonging, imposter syndrome, rejection, instability, performance anxiety, vulnerability, perfectionism, the difficulty of maintaining a coherent sense of self under pressure — are some of the things I’m most equipped to work with.

  • If you are a parent seeking support for your child or adolescent, I welcome a conversation. I have worked with young people throughout my career, and I understand that reaching out on behalf of someone you love takes its own kind of courage.

  • I work with individuals and families affected by addiction and substance use, and I have a deep familiarity with 12-step programs and recovery.

  • I work with adults and adolescents dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment and relational wounds, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and more.

  • It shouldn't — but it does. Access to depth-oriented therapy often depends on income. I hold a limited number of sliding scale openings for those who might otherwise go without — including immigrants and individuals who have experienced marginalization. Availability changes, so I encourage you to reach out and I will let you know what's possible.

Whatever brought you here, there is hope. I’d love to hear from you.

I am currently seeing patients in person in Oakland and virtually throughout California via telehealth. Contact me to set up a consultation.
